Prepare the patients scalp
To peel away
Metal caps his ears
He'll hear not what we say
Solid steel visor
Riveted cross his eyes
Iron staples close his jaws
So no one hears his cries

Um yeah I had to. I'm still saving money to get an electric, this seemed like a good chance to try to win one... oh well! I originally never intended on entering the contest, heck, as soon as I read the announcement, up till one week I dare not even enter the contest gallery! I was that afraid. Who wouldn't be jealous really looking at all those entries? dA has lots of talented people and their entries are trully mind blowing, and I was a little sad of the fact that I've never tinkered with Photoshop or done any manip work before - so why bother, right?

But in the end I decided to give it a go anyway. Never know what might happen... yeah. :|

So, here it is folks. A total Photoshop n00b's take on Vic Rattlehead. It's my first time ever doing a manip and brushwork... so it's a little rough in places. Sketched the design first, vectored it in Illustrator and then colours in Photoshop.

Bone textures from : ~fritostock
Other textures from 3DExcellence.

Comments, constructive critism, favourites always welcome.

Thanks.
